Club membership provides something for everyone. Golf tournaments, golf clinics, swim team, kids' camp, year round tennis, junior golf and youth events are available for active family members. The Clubhouse is also the centerpiece for social events such as Winemaker Dinners, bountiful Crab Feeds, Holiday Events and Brunches, Themed Events, Outdoor Barbeques and more.

Social Membership includes full privileges to all club facilities and limited golf privileges for the Member and the immediate family. Social Members do not have voting rights but may participate on committees. Social Memberships are non-equity and may not be transferred or sold. Social Members have full use of all golf practice facilities and are limited to twelve (12) rounds of golf per membership per year with payment of greens fees.
Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club offers three types of membership:
Golf Proprietary Membership includes full privileges to the golf course and all club facilities for the Member and the immediate family. Proprietary Members are shareholders of the Club with voting rights. Proprietary Memberships have an equity position and may be transferred or sold.
Young Professional Membership for those between the ages of 21 and 43, includes full privileges to all club facilities for the Member and immediate family, plus unlimited golf access during Open Play times. Members do not have voting rights but may participate on committees. These Memberships are non-equity and may not be transferred or sold. Young Professionals have full use of all golf practice facilities and enjoy full privileges to the golf course during Open Play times with no payment of greens fees.
The enrollment process begins with a completed application along with a refundable* deposit. In order to be placed on the Member Candidate List, two recommendation (sponsor) letters are required from Proprietary Members if you are applying for a Golf Proprietary Membership and from Social and/or Proprietary Members if you are applying for a Social Membership. Following the above requirements and a Membership Interview, Member Candidates are presented for approval at the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors.
*This deposit is refundable until the Board approves the application. If membership is approved and said applicant withdraws or fails to pay the balance due, the deposit is non-refundable.
